The Arabesque and Spy Tech collections that launched with CS2's Season 5 update lean into two distinct color palettes, warm gold-and-blue tones on one side, dark stealth-tech finishes on the other, making them a natural fit for themed color loadouts. Neither collection covers every weapon slot, so the builds below mix in category picks to round things out.

What Is a Color Loadout, and Why Players Build Them

A color loadout (unlike the more "standard" loadout seen in the image above) is simply a full set of equipped skins - rifle, pistol, sniper, and usually a knife and gloves - chosen to match a single color theme rather than picked skin-by-skin. It has no effect on gameplay; it's purely cosmetic and one of the more popular ways traders and collectors show off an inventory, whether that's on stream, in clips, or just for their own loadout screen. Building one well usually means balancing a couple of statement pieces with cheaper, closely-matched fillers rather than chasing the most expensive skin in every slot.

Gold & Arabian: A Warm Gold Loadout Inspired by Arabesque

Arabesque's mosaic gold, lapis blue, and desert-toned finishes work well as a warm, ornate loadout theme. This build doesn't have to stay locked to Arabesque pieces alone - use it as the anchor and round it out with other gold and warm-toned skins from across CS2 for a fuller gold loadout.

Arabesque doesn't include a knife or gloves, so pair this loadout with Bloodhound Gloves | Bronzed and a warm-toned Lore-finish knife, such as Karambit | Lore, to round it out. Check the gloves category and knives category on Skinscanner for current listings that match the palette.

Black Ops & Stealth Tech: A Black-and-White Loadout Inspired by Spy Tech

Spy Tech's matte blacks, greens, and glitch finishes suit a stealthier, tactical-themed loadout. As with the gold build, this one works well pushed beyond Spy Tech alone into a broader black-and-white theme, pulling in other dark and stealth-styled skins to fill it out.

As with Arabesque, there's no matching knife or gloves in Spy Tech itself. Driver Gloves | Black Tie paired with M9 Bayonet | Black Laminate is a well-known combo for this look, or use a black or dark-green pair from your existing inventory to complete it.

Filling the Gaps: Why You'll Still Need Older Skins

Arabesque and Spy Tech already cover rifle and pistol slots well. Where they fall short is knives and gloves, since neither collection includes either. Both are Armory-exclusive weapon sets capped at 17 skins each, consistent with how Armory collections have worked so far. If you're building a full loadout rather than just picking up one or two statement pieces, expect to blend in established skins from earlier collections to cover those slots.

Budget Loadout Guide

If you're building on a budget, lean on the accessible tier across both palettes: for the gold theme, that's the MAC-10 | Arabesque Mosaic, Tec-9 | Sultan, and PP-Bizon | Traitor; for the black-and-white theme, it's the M4A4 | Dark Operative, Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol, and MP7 | Base-2. Pair either with a modestly priced knife and glove skin rather than chasing a Covert-tier centerpiece, and you'll land a coherent themed loadout well under what a Covert anchor piece alone would cost.

Premium Loadout Guide

For a premium build, anchor each loadout around its Covert-tier centerpiece: the AWP | Sovereign Flame and M4A4 | Falak for Gold & Arabian, or the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC and AWP | Black Box for Black Ops & Stealth Tech. Because both collections only just released, pricing on these Covert pieces is still settling and will likely carry the widest swings of any tier, so check current listings before committing rather than budgeting off an early price.
