AceSkin

AceSkin

  • 1.5–5% Seller Fee
  • 0.5–2.5% Withdrawal Fee

Introduction

AceSkin is a young, US-registered peer-to-peer CS2 marketplace operated by Ace Skin Inc. out of Dover, Delaware. It positions itself squarely against bot-inventory sites: every trade moves directly between the buyer’s and seller’s own Steam accounts, with AceSkin acting as matchmaker and escrow-verifier rather than a middleman holding stock.

How the market works

Skins never sit in an AceSkin-owned inventory. A buyer purchases a listing, the seller is alerted and has 30 minutes to accept, then sends a Steam trade offer directly to the buyer's account; AceSkin's browser extension or mobile app confirms the trade completed before releasing the seller's proceeds. That real-time syncing tool is required, not optional, for the flow to work.

Fees explained

AceSkin's own pages don't agree with each other on the seller fee. The homepage describes a dynamic 1.5–5% range that scales with an account's trust standing — better standing earns a lower rate — while the FAQ separately states a flat 2%, and the Terms of Service cap it at “up to 4.0%.” No page anywhere states a buyer-side fee; the Terms only describe a charge on the seller. Withdrawing carries its own dynamic fee, starting at 2.5% and stepping down as your lifetime sale volume grows, reaching 0.5% past $100,000 sold — plus a separate 0.6–1% conversion charge if your payout isn't in USD or USDC.

How to buy

Browse listings, each showing float and sticker details, and purchase outright. The seller is notified and has 30 minutes to accept the sale before it's released back to the market.

How to sell

List an item, and once it sells you have 2 hours to send the Steam trade offer and must keep it open at least 18 hours. Miss those windows and your account's trust score drops, which feeds directly into which seller-fee tier you sit in. A distinctive protection: if a buyer wrongly disputes a completed trade, a privacy-preserving “Manual Verification” system lets you cryptographically prove delivery without exposing your account data — the buyer gets banned if you're right.

Cashing out

Payouts run through Stripe Connect, which means completing Stripe’s own identity verification before you can withdraw anything. Proceeds become available roughly 8 days after the buyer accepts the trade — mirroring Steam’s own reversal window — then settle by bank transfer or debit card in about 2 business days, or by USDC on Polygon over a similar timeframe. The minimum payout is generally $5, and AceSkin says a first payout may carry extra delay.

Verification

Identity checks are handled by SumSub and are mandatory before depositing via ACH or iDEAL, can be triggered on a flagged card deposit, and are required by Stripe for every seller before their first payout. Selling more than $2,000 in a rolling 30 days triggers a supplemental check. On top of AceSkin's own 7-day hold on newly-traded items, Steam's own trade hold — up to 15 days if Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator hasn't been active long enough — still applies underneath. Reversing a completed trade is treated as a severe violation for whichever side does it, resulting in a permanent ban and forfeiture of the funds involved.

Who it's for

A good fit for someone who specifically wants genuine Steam-to-Steam trading — no bot ever custodies the skin — and who wants to cash out to a real bank account or debit card rather than platform credit. Less suited to a high-volume trader put off by fee terms that read differently depending which page of the site you check, or anyone in a region Stripe or AceSkin's own sanctions list excludes.

Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages

  • Genuine peer-to-peer trading — skins move Steam-to-Steam directly between accounts, with no bot ever holding your item
  • Withdrawal fee steps down the more you sell, from 2.5% down to 0.5% past $100,000 in lifetime volume
  • A privacy-preserving Manual Verification system lets a seller prove a trade was delivered without exposing account data if a buyer disputes it
  • Cashes out to a real bank account or debit card through Stripe Connect, not just platform credit
  • Supports 115+ payout currencies with automatic conversion

Disadvantages

  • The seller fee is described three different ways across AceSkin's own pages — a 1.5–5% range on the homepage, a flat 2% in the FAQ, and an “up to 4.0%” cap in the Terms
  • No buyer-side fee is published anywhere, which could mean there isn't one or simply that it isn't written down
  • Payouts aren’t available for about 8 days after a trade completes, plus a further 2 business days to actually land
  • Crypto payout is USDC on Polygon only, despite at least one third-party listing claiming Bitcoin and Ethereum are options
  • Trustpilot record is very thin — a single visible review behind the headline score
  • CS2 only — no Dota 2, Rust or TF2 support for a trader working across multiple games

Frequently Asked Questions

AceSkin's own pages don't fully agree: the homepage describes a dynamic 1.5–5% range tied to your account's trust standing, the FAQ separately states a flat 2%, and the Terms of Service cap it at up to 4.0%. Expect somewhere in that range rather than one fixed number.
