Tradeit
- Variable Seller Fee
- 0% Buyer Fee
- ~3.1% Deposit Fee
- 2% Withdrawal Fee
Introduction
Tradeit runs on a dual corporate structure — TRADEITGG LTD in Cyprus and Tradeit.gg LLC in Delaware — with a copyright notice reaching back to 2017. It is the most visible of these marketplaces in esports, appearing as a sponsor around Vitality, HLTV and BLAST, and it carries nearly 22,000 Trustpilot reviews at 4.7.
How the market works
Tradeit buys your skin itself rather than listing it for someone else to buy. Instant Sell is the only live selling method: you are quoted a price, you accept, and the item goes to Tradeit. There is no manual listing flow where you set your own price and wait.
Fees explained
The seller-side fee runs anywhere from 5% to 20% and is already baked into the price you are quoted, so nothing is deducted afterwards. That band is the widest disclosed by any marketplace here, and where a specific item falls inside it is not something you can work out in advance — you can only compare the quote against the market. Buying carries no separate charge: spending store balance costs exactly the quoted price. Funding that balance is a different story — Tradeit does not publish a deposit rate, but third-party reporting puts card deposits at around 3.1%, and the other rails on offer may not cost the same.
How to buy
Fund the account by card, crypto, iDEAL, Bancontact or Giropay, or by depositing skins valued at live market prices, then buy directly. Depositing skins rather than money is a genuinely useful route if you are effectively trading up rather than spending.
How to sell
Selling only happens through Instant Sell: pick an item from your Steam inventory, accept the quoted price, and it transfers to Tradeit immediately. There is no listing step where you name your own price and wait for a buyer, so a sale is finished the moment you accept the quote. Whatever percentage Tradeit has taken is already reflected in that number, and the proceeds land in Revenue straight away.
Cashing out
Sale proceeds sit in Revenue and are locked for seven days — that is Steam’s trade-protection window rather than a Tradeit-imposed delay. After it clears you can move the money to Store Balance instantly and for free, or withdraw to a bank account, debit card, or crypto wallet for a 2% fee with a $10 minimum.
Who it's for
Well suited to people who want a skin turned into balance in one click and intend to spend it on the platform, where the payout is instant and free. Poorly suited to anyone optimising for the best price, because a fee that can reach 20% and is invisible until quoted is hard to plan around.
