Introduction
iTrade.gg is a skin-for-skin trading site operated by Virtual Assets Group, running since around 2019. It is the odd one out in this comparison: there is no cash side at all. You trade Steam items against the site’s own bot inventory, and any difference in value is settled in site credit rather than money.
How the market works
This is a pure trade-bot model. You pick items you want from iTrade’s inventory, offer items of your own against them, and a bot generates a Steam trade offer you confirm in the usual way. Trades complete in seconds because you are dealing with the platform’s own stock rather than waiting on another user.
Fees explained
iTrade does not publish a commission rate. Its terms state that fees "are integrated into the value of the Virtual Item quoted on our platform and are not presented separately," so there is no line item to read — the number you are actually judging is the quoted trade value itself, measured against live market prices. The homepage separately advertises commissions "as low as 4%," but that is a marketing floor, not a schedule you can expect on a specific trade. Third-party measurements of that built-in spread put the effective seller-side cost at 4–7% — an instant trade nets roughly 82% of cash value — and deposits by card or crypto at around 2.9%; buying against the bot inventory carries no separate charge.
How to buy
Choose items from the bot inventory and offer your own skins in exchange, or fund the trade with a credit/debit card or crypto instead — third-party sources put that route at around 2.9%. The bot sends the Steam trade offer immediately and the items arrive once you confirm through the Steam mobile authenticator.
How to sell
Selling works the same way as buying, just from the other side of the trade: you offer items from your Steam inventory against the bot’s stock, and the bot accepts or declines based on the quoted value — third-party measurements put the effective cost of that spread at 4–7%, with an instant trade netting roughly 82% of cash value. There is no listing to create and no buyer to wait for. Any surplus value from the trade lands as Exchange Credit rather than cash, since iTrade has no cash side to sell into.
Cashing out
There is no cash-out. Value you build up sits as Exchange Credit, capped at $10,000, and can only be spent on other items from the bot inventory. Items left in your on-site backpack expire 30 days after their trade lock ends, so credit and inventory both need using rather than holding.
Availability
iTrade blocks access from a long list of territories including Russia, Cyprus, Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, the British Virgin Islands and the occupied territories of Ukraine. Disputes are handled by arbitration in the British Virgin Islands under UNCITRAL rules.
Who it's for
A good fit if you want to churn one set of skins into another quickly and never intend to take money off the platform. A bad fit if you are selling to realise cash, because there is no route from iTrade to your bank account.
